Dear Residents, Family Members and Staff:
Another week brings us another report on staff who have tested positive for covid.
This week, we will be testing in Fiddlers Green. We will test one more time in Orchard Terrace and then hopefully be able to stop.
Beginning today, I want all Edenton staff to wear a mask. All residents and guests should consider wearing a mask as well.
Case counts for the flu, covid and respiratory illness continues to grow. With more social and family gatherings, the likelihood of potential exposure and illness will only rise.
This Thursday, December 15th, Whitesell Pharmacy will be on campus to provide another opportunity for residents and staff to receive the bivalent covid booster. Assisted living nurses will reach out to family members to confirm who may be due for the next booster and to gain consent if information has not already been received.
Visitors to AL will also be encouraged to wear a mask to help protect Residents. Visitors who want to dine with AL residents should inquire with the staff to make a reservation and ensure there is space in the dining room. Visitors may still go to the main dining room with guests for a meal.

Mark your calendar: the 2023 Edenton Calendar Reveal will occur this Thursday December 15th at 1 pm in the restaurant. 2023 calendars will be distributed after the reveal. Many thanks to all of the residents and staff who participated to make this calendar happen!
