Here at Edenton our Independent Living cottages are apartments built with safety in mind, where In-home services are just a call away when you choose to call.  You and your neighbors will benefit from Edenton’s on campus security and daily ‘Buddy Check” to ensure your safety.  You can design your own retirement schedule with friends, doing whatever you like or join organized community activities being held next door. Plus, Pets are always encouraged.

Personal Service Options for Independent Living

Edenton offers a variety of supportive services to our independent living residents. The Personal Service Allowance of $460 is included in the monthly cost and can be 

by our residents as they wish on any of our personal service options.

Monthly Costs Include:

  • Lifeline Emergency Pendant System
  • 24-hour security
  • Security phone
  • Daily “Buddy Checks” ensure resident’s safety
  • Maintenance of cottage and landscaping
  • Valet Trash Removal 3 times per week
  • Basic cable television
  • Water and sewer
  • Use of Manor House parlors, library, recreation room and chapel
  • Laundry room

*Rent does not include electricity or phone service.
