Good morning Edenton Residents, Family Members and Staff:
First, I want to thank you for your patience as we begin to offer AL visitation and increased safe activities for all Residents. We must continue to be cautious despite vaccinations and lowering community incidents of the virus in Frederick County.
Here are the weekly updates:
• AL Resident scheduled indoor (designated location) visitation continues for next week. Please call to schedule a visit for any weekday or weekend day.
o Edenton will provide a copy of the rules upon check-in.
o Please be mindful that other appointments may limit your visit time. We are trying to provide an hour per visit in most cases.
• IL community dining room – you must wear your mask in the dining room, at the table until you are actively drinking and/or eating.
• IL small group activity and exercises must be signed up for at the front desk.
• March 10th – the last vaccination clinic on campus is scheduled to be held by CVS. If you are interested in receiving the vaccine – please contact the Manor House and we will assist you in scheduling an appointment.
Spring Cleanup: Beginning Monday March 8th power washing will begin for the exteriors of most buildings on campus. We want this work to be completed before the mulch and edging is accomplished on campus. Power washing will include all IL apartment units and the AL buildings. IL Residents are requested to remove items from the porch that are loose or will get in the way of completing this work. We may also need to request that vehicles be moved in some situations to gain access. A maintenance staff member will notify you of any needs and the specific location for power washing.
Please remember, the vaccine is only one step in helping protect ourselves, our families, and our seniors. We must continue to wear our masks, distance from others who do not live in our households and wash our hands frequently.
As always, if I can answer any question or provide you with additional information, please reach out to me or another member of our team.
Be Well,
RaeAnn Butler
Administrator
