Dear Residents, Family Members and Staff:
As we approach Memorial Day, please take time to honor and remember all military personnel who have died in the performance of their duties while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
I was looking back on the many communications that I have provided over the past 15 months appreciating how far we have come and all that we have accomplished. Together, we have accomplished a great deal! You, like me, hope that we are nearing the end of the pandemic’s related restrictions and limited activity, but only time will tell. Edenton will continue to maintain actions that monitor for and try to eliminate any COVID-19 virus spread on our campus.
Given the rising numbers of vaccinated persons and lower incidents of positive virus cases in our county, state and country, we still realize that there remains a chance of illness. Please keep this in mind as you gather with family and friends, go out to events, dine indoors, and travel. Continue to protect our Residents and staff by wearing your mask when indoors working and visiting.
Edenton will continue with the current level of activity, visitation guidelines and surveillance. Every two weeks, I will provide a communication unless a new situation develops or important information needs to be shared with you.
As always, if I can answer any question or provide you with information, please reach out to me or another member of our team.
Be well,
RaeAnn Butler
