Residents at Edenton enjoy private rental cottages  close enough to on campus amenities and opportunities for socializing, participating in wellness group activities and engaging with friends and family.  A program called “History Makers” brings interesting and in depth discussion about significant historical topics.  This month offers a demonstration and discussion about recorded sound from wax cylinders to shellac diss and more on August 11.  A Wheelchair and Walker tune up clinic is scheduled for August 12 and the Community Store is open during the week for easy access to pick up shacks, and other essentials like shampoo, toothpaste and a place to hang out with friends and enjoy a free cup of coffee. Book Club meets on August 20, and a lecture about “Liver Health’ is scheduled for August 3 in the Community Room.
