Orchard Terrace is using September to celebrate the County Fair and Baseball with a lineup of themed activities including traditional fair games, classic fair snacks, and Little League discussions. The theme is “Community, Competition, and Connection”. Orchard Terrace will also offer American Sign Language (ASL) lessons spread out over three classes. This activity is designed to help participants learn the third most used language in the United States, while boosting cognition, enhance memory and provide a new way of connecting with those with hearing loss. Daily exercise, games and get togethers with food are planned throughout the month.
