Independent Living at Edenton is, well — all about Independence. Independence does not mean isolation, so Edenton curates community outings and supports internal activities centered around shared interests that can bring joy to those who participate. The December Holidays provide a flurry of outside events to join and Edenton has transportation available for events in December including Shopping at Frances Scott Key Mall, a trip to the Delaplaine Arts Center, a “Jazz Big Bands Concert at FCC”, and a lunch and play “Way off Broadway” presentation of Christmas Chronicles. Meanwhile, back at Edenton- regular daily opportunities for friends and entertainment include a Holiday Wreath Decorating Contest, Holiday Bazaar, and a Christmas Eve Service with Chaplain Keegan. Each day features diverse options including Let’s Play Scrabble, our “One Day University — War of 1812: Redefining North America”, Yoga with Milette, Movie and Pastries, and Poets Cozy Corner.
